[Newsmp] Six of the pharmaceutical companies ranked in the top 100 in annual sales among 1,328 KOSDAQ-listed components whose closing accounts are in December.
According to the Korea Exchange’s KOSDAQ market fiscal year report, Seegene was the only pharmaceutical and bio company to achieve more than KRW 1 trillion in sales among the pharmaceuticals components, and those who had more than KRW 350 billion in sales placed in the top 100.
Seegene recorded annual sales of KRW 1.1486 trillion last year, ranking 15th out of 1,328 companies.
HK Inno.N ranked 26th with KRW 768.3 billion, Kolmar BNH 44th with KRW 525 billion, and Dongkook Pharmaceutical 46th with KRW 515.4 billion, making four pharmaceutical and bio companies in the top 50.
Six companies, including Huons at 68th with KRW 403.6 billion and Celltrion Pharm at 69th with KRW 398.7 billion, entered the top 100.
Following them, Humasis placed 107th with KRW 307.5 billion, the only pharmaceutical and bio company to be ranked between 100th and 200th.
Hugel with KRW 201.1 billion, Kyungdong Pharm, Daehan Pharmaceutical, Medy-Tox, Daehan New Pharm, Kolon Life Science, DongKoo Bio Pharma, and Ahn-Gook Pharmaceutical, which posted more than KRW 150 billion in sales entered the top 300, while Boditech Med with KRW 141 billion ranked 300th.
Among pharmaceutical and bio companies with sales of more than KRW 100 billion, Korea Arlico Pharm, ST Pharm, Pharma Research Products, Binex, Bioneer, Sam Chun Dang Pharm, and Hwail Pharm entered the top 400.
However, CTC Bio and Green Science Medical Science failed to rank in the top 400 even achieving more than KRW 100 billion in sales and were in the top 500 along with Humedix, Green Cross Wellbeing, Dae Hwa Pharm, and JW Shinyak, which made more than KRW 80 billion in sales.
